What Kind of Game Is Wild n Chill? A Survival Adventure About Living in Nature
The world of Wild n Chill is set in a vast wilderness region known as Black Bear Hollow.
Players must manage hunger, thirst, and fatigue while building a life in the wild.
Fishing, gathering berries, chopping wood, setting traps, and occasionally hunting are all part of daily life. By making use of nature’s resources, players can gradually build a sustainable lifestyle at their own pace.
While many of the animals that inhabit the wilderness are peaceful, dangerous creatures such as bears and wolves can also be encountered along the way.
Build Your Own Cabin in the Wilderness
Players begin with almost nothing.
As they explore the wilderness, they can construct a variety of structures, including cabins, smokehouses, woodsheds, food storage facilities, and hunting blinds. Discovering new areas and resources unlocks even more building options over time.
Watching an empty patch of wilderness gradually transform into a personal homestead looks to be one of Wild n Chill’s biggest appeals, setting it apart from its predecessor, Cast n Chill.
Supports Up to Four-Player Co-op
Wild n Chill supports both solo play and co-op for up to four players.

Explore 11 Unique Regions and Over 40 Animal Species
Players will be able to explore 11 distinct regions, each with its own environment. Coastal areas, wetlands, tropical rainforests, and snow-covered mountains are just some of the landscapes waiting to be discovered.
The game will feature more than 40 animal species and over 20 types of fish. According to the developers, some creatures may even be legendary animals whose existence remains the subject of debate.
Exploration and discovery appear to be an important part of the experience as well.
Beyond the wildlife and resources scattered throughout the world, players may even stumble upon their own quiet corner of the wilderness—a place to slow down, relax, and simply enjoy the scenery.

“One of our biggest dreams has always been to build a cabin deep in the peaceful wilderness.
A place far away from the noise, where you can slow down, work with your hands, and enjoy the simple things in life.
But the reality is that for most people, ourselves included, building a cabin in the woods isn’t something that’s easy to do.
That’s one of the reasons we’re creating Wild n Chill.
By combining the relaxing atmosphere of Cast n Chill with bushcrafting, cabin building, hunting, foraging, and life in the wilderness, we’re hoping to create an even bigger escape.
A place where anyone can experience that dream, no matter where they live.

Mark also shared a message for Japanese players.

On June 7, we’ll be revealing the very first gameplay footage of Wild n Chill during Frosty Game Fest as part of Summer Game Fest.
